here is joe mcnertney's fifth solo album, and the first under the colloquialisms moniker. recorded in three different homes in iowa city during a tumultuous two year period.

guests include eric rohn (piano on "unfabled," ebow on "one more with old blue," and electric guitar on "breakup song #4") and the following people on "oh, polo": lyrics by john guittar, bass by ross stutzman, and backing vocals by megan robertson. also "mille regretz" was written ca. 1520, most likely by josquin de prez.
